Efficient room management is essential for modern companies. We faced the challenge of making the occupancy of our meeting rooms intuitive and transparent. We found the solution in our Select Panel Client with Prime OS Client software.
Intelligent occupancy display directly at the room
To maximize user-friendliness, a Select Panel Client flush-mount 10.1" was elegantly and space-savingly integrated into the wall of each meeting room. The panels, which are not only visually appealing but also technically up-to-date, enabled direct connection to the existing IT network infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration. The required PoE power supply is provided directly via the IT switches.
This means: fewer cables, less effort, maximum efficiency.
Transparency and overview at the push of a button
The heart of the solution is the intelligent connection between the Select Panel Client and the central room management tool. A room-specific URL ensures that each panel precisely displays the occupancy of its respective room, presented clearly via an HTML page.
But the functionality goes beyond mere room information: every visitor or employee can use the panel to view not only the current occupancy of a specific room, but also the occupancy status of all managed meeting rooms at a glance. This creates transparency and enables quick decisions, such as during spontaneous meetings or when searching for a free room.
