Panel and Box PCs for Industrial Connectivity

Within the modular range of the product brand “Prime Cube”, Schubert System Elektronik (SSE) develops and produces computer products and systems for industrial interaction. Parametrizable multi-touch panel PCs and the extendable “Prime Box Pico” allow for individual applications for the IIoT.


Panel PCs for Multi-touch Interaction

The industrial panel PCs can be realized as installation and attachment variants in different diagonals and blend in to any machine design. Furthermore, the projected capacitive touch technology (PCAP/ PCT) allows for convenient interaction. Thanks to optional touch parameterization, individual requirements such as the operation with different glove qualities, water detection or cleaning mode can be implemented. Among other things, an EMC-stable 4-finger operation and recognition of the ball of the thumb are pre-parameterized by default.

The devices can be extended in terms of hardware and software; operating system and BIOS can be pre-configured. With their robust system design, the fanless CPU and system cooling and protection class IP65, they can also be used in demanding environments.
The design concept that can also be found with further Prime Cube products is based on slim contours, elegant powder coating, optical lightness and the motto “form follows function”.Die industriellen Panel-PCs sind in verschiedenen Diagonalen als Ein- und Anbau-Variante realisierbar und fügen sich in jedes Maschinendesign ein. Zudem ermöglicht die Projected-Capacitive-Touch-Technik (PCAP/ PCT) eine komfortable Interaktion. Dank optionaler Touch-Parametrierung lassen sich individuelle Anforderungen wie das Bedienen mit verschiedenen Handschuhqualitäten, Water Detection oder ein Reinigungsmodus umsetzen. Im Standard werden unter anderem eine EMV-stabile 4-Fingerbedienung und Handballenerkennung vorparametriert.

Die Geräte sind in Hard- und Software erweiterbar, Betriebssystem und BIOS können vorkonfiguriert werden. Mit ihrem robusten Systemdesign, der lüfterlosen CPU- und Systemkühlung sowie Schutzart IP65 sind sie ebenso im anspruchsvollen Umfeld nutzbar.
Schmale Konturen, die edle Pulverbeschichtung, optische Leichtigkeit und der Grundsatz „form follows function“ liegen dem Designkonzept zugrunde, das sich auch in den weiteren Prime Cube Produkten wiederfindet.

Compact Box PC for Connectivity and Edge Computing

As a small industrial Box PC, the Prime Box Pico can be configured for different applications and is also prepared for edge computing.

Moreover, with its compact design it fits into small gaps of control cabinets. The system design with passive cooling ensures longevity. Connectivity with WLAN, LTE or other radio extensions can be implemented as needed. Furthermore, with CAN bus a quick and easy fieldbus is available.

Based on decades of experience, SSE experts advise their customers along the complete system selection process and develop software applications for the IIoT as required, from the BIOS level and operating system configurations to the middleware.
