A strong addition to the family:
23 years of embedded expertise complement 55 years of innovation
Schubert System Elektronik GmbH is pleased to announce a significant addition: as of May 1, 2026, emtrion GmbH—an established specialist in computer modules for Single Board Computers (SBC), Computer-on-Module (COM), and System-on-Module (SOM), will be integrated as an independent product line within the company.
For Schubert System Elektronik, this step represents a targeted strategic expansion that further strengthens and enhances its existing portfolio in the field of embedded components.

Two strong brands, One shared future
emtrion GmbH brings 23 years of experience in the development of embedded computer modules. The brand and its core product areas will remain in place and continue as an independent product line within Schubert System Elektronik GmbH.
The existing portfolio will be systematically integrated into the overall strategy and further advanced. The Karlsruhe site will operate under the name “Embedded Modules Lab,” highlighting its strong focus on innovation and expertise in embedded computing.
Based in Neuhausen ob Eck, Schubert System Elektronik GmbH has stood for quality, reliability, and technological excellence in electronics development and manufacturing for over 55 years. The integration of emtrion GmbH marks a consistent step in the company’s long-term portfolio development.
