SST HMI for the new "HMI Hygienic Line
We have expanded our portfolio with a stainless steel HMI from the new "HMI Hygienic Line". With this addition, our customers receive a robust touchscreen with a high-performance IPC that meets the highest protection standards. This makes it ideal for use in demanding production environments and hygiene-sensitive areas such as the pharmaceutical and food industries.
Norbert Hubov, Key Account Manager at Schubert System Elektronik, explains: "Our new HMI Hygienic Line is an industrial-grade all-in-one solution. All components, including the hardware and display, are housed in a sterile stainless steel enclosure. Users benefit from a space-saving and modular design."
Design developed according to EHEDG guidelines
In developing the new HMI Hygienic Line, we placed great emphasis on a clear and EHEDG-compliant design language.
Norbert Hubov elaborates: "The acronym EHEDG stands for European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group. The organisation supports companies in the food industry in ensuring high-quality equipment for safe food production. Since our customers package food products, the EHEDG guidelines are binding for us."
HMI Hygienic Line meets the highest standards
To ensure the new HMI functions flawlessly over many years and withstands exceptional environmental influences, it meets the highest protection standards. These include the IP69 classification, which certifies that the device is waterproof and pressure-waterproof. The IK09 rating guarantees particularly high impact resistance. The HMI also offers splinter-proof touch functionality combined with strong computing performance.
The modular HMI Hygienic Line is available in different variants for various industries. Users can choose between a simple dashboard display with touch monitors or a high-end Panel PC with an Intel Core i7 processor for demanding applications.
We have been developing industrial computer technology for demanding applications for more than 50 years — for the packaging machines of Gerhard Schubert GmbH, for medical technology, and for the food and beverage industry. The solutions from Neuhausen ob Eck are as versatile as they are powerful, and include sensor systems for tool monitoring in machinery, industrial web panels for visualising automation processes, industrial PCs and touch monitors.
